Travel Front Desk Personnel – Job Description
Pain Management and Orthopedics experience helpful.
Pull and Prep all agreed upon documentation for the providers (as instructed)
Greet and ask Patients for current insurance information, Photo ID, Attorney contacts etc.
Fill in all mandatory areas in the patient demographics in NextGen
Notify Call Center lead of any Attorney or Doctor that is not in the system so they may update
Start the process of Check- in, Auto Flow, Print Super Bills Every patient must have a case
For every new patient print and give patient all forms that need a signature (training available if needed) All New: WC, No Fault, and Commercial Insurance.
Signed forms - May include but not limited to: Demographics, Consent for treatment, Patient financial responsibility statement of understanding, HIPAA, Authorization to discuss information with others, Lien, LOP, Assignment of benefits Medical History
At check out: Give a follow up appointment, correct the appointment resource if the patient saw someone other than what the appointment indicated.
Scan all signed paperwork given by the patient, as well as the medical history.
Reconcile your cash, cc intake if applicable
Complete the no show protocols (separate cover)
Communicate verbally to appropriate departments, Communicate by entering clear notes in the system for staff.
Meet deadlines assigned:
Mail/Fax office notes to the appropriate attorney on a daily basis. Communicate any more than a 3 day lapse to clinical as well as legal.
Open and sort incoming mail.
Efficiency, productivity, communication, and organizational skills are required.
