LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Our client, a healthcare facility, seeks a LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) for a 3rd shift. In this role, you will be:
* Be responsible for the accurate and timely administration of standing orders, treatments, documentation and emergency calls. Monitors nurse call station and responds accordingly. Administers treatments when necessary, including but not limited to: First Aid, CPR, Eye Drops, Oxygen, vital signs, medication administration, etc. Assists in direct resident care as necessary.
Maintains accurate documentation of resident visits to Resident Care Center and emergency situations. Follows infection control standard precautions and safety policies per agency, state and federal regulations. Uses personal protective equipment as needed. Properly disposes of any contaminated waste materials. Maintains confidentiality of all resident interactions.
Performs assigned tasks during emergency events such as fire, electrical failure or natural disasters. May drive company vehicle to escort residents. Assists with the well being of all residents. Responds to resident emergency call system. Keeps physician and supervisor aware of change in resident's condition. Ability to move residents weighing fifty pounds or more, using assistance from others as necessary
Other details: Scrubs, no specific color or specific type of shoes . Requires High School Diploma and needs to be a Licensed Practical Nurse. Valid North Carolina Driver’s License to transport residents with community-provided vehicles
Hours: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am (3rd shift)
