Our client, an international consumer electronics company seeks an Inventory Coordinator responsible for ensuring that all equipment, supplies, and materials are received, stored, catalogued, and shipments prepared in a consisntent manner. This is a 3 month temp or possible temp-to-hire position.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for inventory control including equipment fixed assets, cycle counts and physical inventories per Company policy
- Responsible for reconciliation of inventory during cycle counts
- Maintains adequate and appropriate stocking levels
- Coordinates and tracks return of non-Company assets working closely with administration and sales personnel
- Maintains inventory in an organized and labeled method working with warehouse personnel
- Picks and prepares orders for assembly or shipment
- Tracks orders through various vendor relationships and provides timely update communication
- Maintains vendor and material updates in accordance to policy and communication to Master Data team
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license
- 2 years previous experience as part of the supply chain operation for a distribution center or similar experience
- Familiarity with and ability to use various warehouse equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks and lift gates
- Ability to use RF devices for inventory management
- General computer skills including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills
