Temp-To-HireOur client, a well-known electronics retailer and E-commerce organization, seeks a Staff Accountant to handle the day-to-day accounting functions. This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity with the ability to learn payroll and other areas. In this role, you will:
o Complete and review monthly closing journal entries
o Enter and post various transactions into the ERP accounting system and/or maintain/create excel spreadsheets to provide subsidiary supporting schedules.
o Prepare financial statements, taxes, and other reports
o Reconcile balance sheet and P&L General Ledger accounts.
o Review vendor invoices, confirm invoices with supporting receiving data and discussion with purchasing department. Enter invoices into A/P and prepare check runs.
o Identify and investigate issues related to Accounts Receivable/Collections and Accounts Payable/Disbursements by working with Accounting and Operations teams
o Analyze, evaluate, and recommend improvements to existing processes and/or identify and implement new processes and procedures aimed at ensuring the most effective/efficient workflows.
o Enter payroll hours into online payroll portal and distribute pay checks.
o Assist with audits and adhering to standard requirements
o Communicate with management team
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience in Retail business is a plus
- Experience of E-COMMERCE sales such as ( Amazon, walmart, etc) is a plus
Competitive Hourly Pay Rate
