Our client, a very reputable consumer goods manufacturer, is looking for a full time Quality Assurance Specialist. 

Responsibilities Include:    

• Monitors Quality Assurance Programs
• Manages customer and supplier compliance requests and requirements
• Provides technical assistance to Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service and Research & Development
• Assists, when necessary, in inspection of incoming materials or shipping finished goods
• Performs other duties not listed above as requested by management
• Update and maintain all documents including SOP, Work Instructions
• Review and update regulatory letters
• Compiling and filing usage of chemicals to the relevant government agencies
• Assist in customer and supplier audits
• Assist QC when needed with testing and documentation and inspection
• Serves as the ISO/SQF Practitioner for the entire SFO/SQF systems as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in QA/QC functions in the converting industry
• Working knowledge of ISO, SQF, Safety (MDS)
• Familiar with GMP
• Some knowledge of quality control in terms of procedures and standard
• Ability to use analytical equipment (FTIR, WVTR, O2, COF)
