Our client, a major women's clothing manufacturer is searching for an Office Purchasing Coordinator to assist with all purchasing, maintenance and cleaning initiatives within the Distribution Center. This is a full time temp-to-hire position.- Prepare purchase orders, place orders, verify receipt of goods, review/approve invoices for processing.
- Coordinate returns, verify replacement/exchange of items shipped or invoiced incorrectly.
- Match work orders with invoices
- Manage supply closet inventory.
- Sorts and distributes incoming US Mail. Manages postage meter maintenance/supplies/postage.
- Coordinate maintenance or replacement of office equipment including cafeteria equipment i.e., coffee machines, vending machines etc.
- Schedule uniform cleaning/replacement and review/approve invoices for processing.
- Support the Department Manager with oversight of the cleaning crew.
- Provide backup to HR Coordinator by delivering temporary employee safety orientation and onboarding as needed.
- Answer phone calls not picked up by Auto Attendant.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills specifically Excel/pivot tables.
- Proficient with data entry.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in office environment.
Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
