Our client, a well-established family physician, is seeking a Medical Assistant on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional, busy environment while developing your medical office & clinical skills. In this role, as a Medical Assistant will:

* Greet patients and take to exam room to measure height, weight, and basic vital signs.
* Perform EKGs on patients
* Medical Assistant will perform phlebotomy when necessary
* Call patients to schedule follow up visits
* Verify existing patients prescriptions list
* Call patients with lab test results
* Upload remote monitoring reports
* Call in to patient prescriptions to pharmacies

Medical Assistant Requirements:
* At least 2 years experience as a medical assistant in a medical office/practice
* Must have experience performing EKG and Phlebotomy
* Strong customer service skills and professional attitude.

30-35 hours/week
