Our client, an international manufacturer of industrial equipment, seeks a Benefits Specialist for a 3 month or longer temporary/contract position This is a full-time hybrid (remote/in-office) position.  In this role, you will support administration of all US benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short/long-term disability, voluntary benefits, rewards programs, 401(k) and Pensions.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of retirement benefit plans, including 401(k), pension, and other retirement savings accounts.
  • Monitor and report on eligibility and compliance
  • Analyze retirement plan documents and provide detailed explanations of plan features, options, and benefits.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, relating to benefits elections
  • Coordinate the retirement process for eligible employees and pensioners and support the onboarding process for new hires relating to benefits elections.
  • Provide administration support to Holding Company for all Pensioners and Term Vested employees
  • Responsible for any benefits filing generated by enrollments, as required, verification of benefits coverage status in benefits system
  • Develop communications and mailings as needed by the company regarding benefit updates or updates needed to the Benefits Portal
  • Correspond with employees regarding elected benefits to ensure accuracy
  • Interact with employees/retirees daily around questions with claims or general inquires around benefit plans provided

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in HR or a related field an HR arena with benefits exposure
  • Minimum 2 years HR experience working in Benefits Administration
  • Strong knowledge of retirement benefit programs, including 401(k), pension, and Social Security.
  • Advanced MS Excel is required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, graphs/charts)
  • HRIS and/or Workday experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex retirement plan documents.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Knowledge of Customer Service Concepts and techniques; ability to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations while providing service in a direct and indirect manner
  •  Must be able to work collaboratively with individuals and groups at all levels.
Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (Flexible)
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office , 2 days remote
