Temp-To-Hire

Our client, an international manufacturer of construction equipment seeks, a Systems IT Administrator to work in a Production office environment.  This is a full time temp-to-hire position.  

In this role, the Systems Administrator  will be responsible for managing and optimizing operational technology (OT) systems (e.g. hardware/software that controls equipment within a production / manufacturing environment). This role involves ensuring network stability, server management, and integration of data-driven solutions to support efficient and compliant production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Support: Provide technical support for Operational Technology (OT) systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure continuous production operations.
• Network Management: Oversee the network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and security across all production systems.
• Server Administration: Manage and maintain servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime, Patches updates, security.
• Support Windows Servers and Cloud Servers
• Virtualization: Manage virtual server performance (VMWare)
• Data Integration: Implement and manage data integration solutions to enhance production efficiency and decision-making.
• Compliance: Ensure all OT systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors to stay updated on the latest OT technologies and solutions.

• Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities related to the integration of OT programs and applications.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of OT systems, processes, and procedures.
• Participation in an on-call support for critical systems may be required

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in OT systems management, network administration, and server management.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in network protocols and configurations.
• Strong knowledge of server administration and maintenance.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V

Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Must be able to work in plant environments, including wearing appropriate PPE as required.
