Our client, an international manufacturer of construction equipment seeks, a Systems IT Administrator to work in a Production office environment. This is a full time temp-to-hire position.In this role, the Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing operational technology (OT) systems (e.g. hardware/software that controls equipment within a production / manufacturing environment). This role involves ensuring network stability, server management, and integration of data-driven solutions to support efficient and compliant production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Provide technical support for Operational Technology (OT) systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure continuous production operations.
- Network Management: Oversee the network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and security across all production systems.
- Server Administration: Manage and maintain servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime, Patches updates, security.
- Support Windows Servers and Cloud Servers
- Virtualization: Manage virtual server performance (VMWare)
- Data Integration: Implement and manage data integration solutions to enhance production efficiency and decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure all OT systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities related to the integration of OT programs and applications.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of OT systems, processes, and procedures.
- Participation in an on-call support for critical systems may be required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in OT systems management, network administration, and server management.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in network protocols and configurations.
- Strong knowledge of server administration and maintenance.
- Experience with data integration tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V
