Sales Support Specialist

Our client, a well-established distributor of chemical and raw materials based out in Fort Lee, NJ, is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing order fulfillment processes accurately and timely. This is a full time, temp to hire, in office position.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
- Generate and manage customer contracts and agreements.
- Accurately process customer purchase orders
- Maintain and monitor inventory supply levels.
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to respond to inquiries, order status, and resolve issues.
- General bookkeeping
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related fields
- 4+ years of experience in order processing, order management, or procurement
- Exceptional detail orientation with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills; client-focused with a problem-solving mindset
- Must live within the Fort Lee–area commuting zone.
- Must have bookkeeping experience
Work Location: Full Time in Office
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-4:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am-3:00 pm
Salary: $55,000- $65,000
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
