Our client, a well known international technology solutions company, seeks a Marketing Assistant who will be responsible for developing and managing market activities for the B2C division. The associate will work closely with HQ to guide products from inception to launch in an agile environment, as well as marketing and sales to gather all needed business inputs. Associate will also assist in creating marketing materials to successfully launch products.  This is a long term indefinite full time temp or contract position.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities and post launch performance 

• Responsible for new product development and product management through a product’s life cycle
• Evaluate pre-production samples
• Oversee product testing
• Review and undertake market and competitor review
• Articulating customer problems, wants and needs
• Identify current and future market opportunities  
• Assist in defining the roadmap
• Provides input to the development of advertising, public relations and other marketing outreach tools that are product-focused
• Create and maintain all product-focused marketing materials including, but not limited to, video scripts, web content, and sales collateral

Qualifications:

• Up-to-date understanding of market trends and keen interest in following emerging technologies
• Emphasis on user-driven product design and data-driven product refinement
• Strong understanding of user experience, technical and consumer application
• Ability to quickly understand, simplify, internalize and communicate complex or technical concepts
• Demonstrated thoroughness, follow-up and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written), a team player
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage workload
