Temp-To-Hire

Our client, a major women's clothing manufacturer is searching for an Office Purchasing Coordinator to assist with all purchasing, maintenance and cleaning initiatives within the Distribution Center.  This is a full time temp-to-hire position.
  1. Prepare purchase orders, place orders, verify receipt of goods, review/approve invoices for processing.
  2. Coordinate returns, verify replacement/exchange of items shipped or invoiced incorrectly.
  3. Match work orders with invoices
  4. Manage supply closet inventory.
  5. Sorts and distributes incoming US Mail.  Manages postage meter maintenance/supplies/postage. 
  6. Coordinate maintenance or replacement of office equipment including cafeteria equipment i.e., coffee machines, vending machines etc.
  7. Schedule uniform cleaning/replacement and review/approve invoices for processing.
  8. Support the Department Manager with oversight of the cleaning crew.
  9. Provide backup to HR Coordinator by delivering temporary employee safety orientation and onboarding as needed.
  10. Answer phone calls not picked up by Auto Attendant. 
Skills/Abilities:
  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Strong Microsoft Office skills specifically Excel/pivot tables.
  3. Proficient with data entry.
Education and Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in office environment.

Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
